Academic events

CCPN Global creates the sole English and Chinese bilingual website in the English speaking world focusing on the social scientific study of China and the Chinese. This bilingual website is being used as a public platform. The sections ‘Publications’, ‘Academic events’ and ‘Research Projects’ each consist of two parts: work from CCPN Global and work done elsewhere. The external links can also be found in the ‘Resources’ section under Global China Press.

We have been keeping and maintaining the list of China and the Chinese from a comparative perspective related events globally from 2004 when CCPN at LSE just began to develop its initiative of comparative studies focusing on China. We try to focus on China or Chinese in comparative perspective, and participate in events that places China in a global context.

From 2014 CCPN Global involved in different kinds of events. From 2015 we lauched the Global China Dialogue series and set up a website to promote it. We therefore  categorized them in the following ways. you can follwo the links to see other events.

The websites and blogs are in use while they are being built

The above title is adapted from the China's development style in order for you to share our resources in a timely fashion. There is still a huge amount of work to be done. Your understanding, participation and generous support are highly appreciated!
